With the exception of the Yanagiba, which is made from 110 layers of Damascus steel , each of our unique professional knives is forged from hand-picked Damascus steel with 67 layers. This not only gives the knife a unique appearance , but also long-lasting sharpness and robustness .
Thanks to the Japanese VG-10 stainless steel core, our damask knives are four times as sharp as traditional steel knives. VG-10 is the highest grade blade steel, it's rust-free and lasts forever.
